The desk frame is available in black, white or silver, blending easily into any existing office or home office decor. Tabletops are available in white or beech, or feel free to use your own.

The square column frame is exceptionally sturdy, due to the crossbar and drive shaft being located at the top of the frame (rather than in the middle as per some older sit stand desk designs). This crossbar/rail is then screwed with a bracket directly into the tabletop along with the legs, bringing all the parts together in a rock solid configuration. This sturdiness eliminates the wobble problem present in older-style standing desk models when raised to their full height.

Fewer than average parts make the 501-33 sit stand desk very easy to assemble. Most users comfortable with assembling flat pack furniture can put this desk together in less than half an hour.
